At work
Coworker: (Reading) “(some car) can go 0 to 60 in 3.1 seconds”! Can you believe that? That’s…. that’s too much.
Me: What do you mean?
Coworker: It’s ridiculous. Why does a car need to be able to do that? I like fast cars, but that’s just going too far.
Me: Do you hate it because you think it’s an affront to nature?
Coworker: I do! It’s unnatural for anything to best the cheetah’s land speed record so quickly.
Me: Do you feel like they’re saying: “fuck you cheetah!”?
Then we looked at videos of blanket octopusesses. All in all, it was a productive day.
